Surprise!! Kinda

A man from a nearby town called a few weeks ago to schedule a surprise massage for his wife. He’d found my listing online. She was no stranger to massage, but she just hadn’t made it a priority in a while. Delighted to oblige, I worked with him to find a time that fit into his work schedule so he could watch the kids and she could relax. We agreed on March 8th.

Tuesday, a woman from the same town called, saying she picked up my card from Claybank, the health food store across the street from my business. She said she needed my "first available, " and I fit her in yesterday. She came in, filled out her form, and I asked if she told her husband she was receiving a massage.



Apparently Tuesday night, their home conversation went something like:

Man "What time are you coming home tomorrow?"
Client "Oh, like 5:30. I’m getting a massage after work."
Man "Where? I already scheduled you one with [my business]"
Client "That’s where I’m going!"

I must have done the job because she asked about longer sessions and took a new business card with my website on it.
