Who I am: My name is Cynthia Given, and I've been a licensed massage therapist since 2007. I am nationally certified in therapeutic massage, and I graduated with honors from the 500+ hour massage therapy program at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, Illinois.
I also added skin care services in 2014. All services are performed by Donna Botelho, a licensed esthetician and Dermalogica Certified Skin Therapist. Donna graduated with over 900 hours in skin care and esthetics training from SIC in Harrisburg, Illinois.
Our clients (and how we help them)
Our clients are health-conscious men and women (and children!) who enjoy skin care services, massage therapy, and spa treatments. Some are in pain. Some want to relax for an hour or two. Some receive a gift certificate and don't know a thing about massage. We consult each client before a session, and we discuss how our services can generally and specifically help each client.
What we're best at:
Listening! We enjoy when clients let us know what's worked and what hasn't worked in the past. We also add client preferences to each chart (music, sheets, scents, etc).
What you can expect:
First, there's a very short intake form to complete. Then, we discuss it together. Next, your therapist will show you the treatment room (you change in private).

She was the vice-president of the massage therapy class of 2007.

Prior to attending SIC, Cynthia attended Wabash Valley College (graduated with honors, class of 2002) and Louisiana State University (class of 2014). While attending college, she was heavily involved in volunteering and held several leadership positions in campus organizations. She interned for two US senators and received leadership awards in Model United Nations and student government. She majored in history also has interests in physics and government.
