Who I am: My name is Cynthia Given, and I've been a licensed massage therapist since 2007. I am nationally certified in therapeutic massage, and I graduated with honors from a 500+ hour massage therapy program in Harrisburg, Illinois.
My clients (and how I help them)
My clients are health-conscious men and women (and children!) who enjoy massage therapy and spa treatments. Some are in pain. Some want to relax for an hour or two. Some receive a gift certificate and don't know a thing about massage. I consult each client before a session, and we discuss how massage can generally and specifically help each client.
What I'm best at:
Listening! I enjoy when clients let me know what's worked and what hasn't worked. I also add client preferences to each chart (music, sheets, scents, etc).
What you can expect:
First, there's a very short intake form to complete. Then, we discuss it together. Next, I show you the treatment room (you change in private).
When and where I massage:
I have created a safe, therapeutic, and easily accessible environment in downtown Olney. I have flexible scheduling (by appointment Sunday as well as Tuesday thru Friday - other times by request).
In addition to massage, I sell gift certificates, arrange spa parties, volunteer, and educate (guest speaking and career mentoring).
How to reach me:
It's no fun to hear a ringing phone during a massage session! Please email me, schedule online or leave me a voicemail at 392-3800. I'll return your call between massage sessions. Contact Cynthia
